It is the BUYER’S responsibility to read our Terms in their entirety before purchasing. All buyers will be held to these terms upon purchase. We reserve the right to deny sale to anyone.
Payments

Our animals are purchased on a first come, first serve basis. First confirmed request, followed by completed payment ensures the purchase of the animal you choose. We currently accept payment via Visa, MasterCard and Discover through PayPal only. Buyers do not have to have a PayPal account to pay as they can submit payments from their bank account or credit card through the electronic PayPal invoice. An invoice will be e-mailed to the buyer within 24 hours of conformation and payment is due immediately upon receipt.
If you do not make your payment within 24 hours of receiving your invoice it will be withdrawn and the dragon will be listed for sale once again. On a case by case basis we can hold a dragon for a period not exceeding 14 days with a non-negotiable 40% upfront deposit. If the full remaining balance is not paid within 14 calendar days the buyer will receive a refund minus a $10.00 fee for the cost of the food and care of the dragon as it could have been sold to another buyer.
When the dragon is paid for in full the dragon must be shipped on the following Wednesday arriving Thursday. If the buyer is not available to be home for the dragon the following Thursday the dragon must be shipped on a Wednesday within14 days from the payment date or the buyer will be charged a $10.00 weekly boarding cost not to exceed 30 days. At which point a refund will be given for the animal minus the boarding cost and a $10.00 restocking fee. And the animal will be made available for purchase to another buyer. We will not hold dragons indefinitely.
Please Note: State/City sales tax can be added for all buyers. Any child under the age of 18 must have their parents permission to purchase the animal and confirmation from a parent/guardian will be required. Proof of age may be required. Contact Us for payment arrangement questions.

Shipping

Once the payment has cleared the dragon will be shipped on our scheduled shipping day, Wednesday (unless non-mail holidays interfere). Danny's Dragons is based out of the Bay Area in California and we are not a store front we breed from our home, we do not permit foot traffic. All animals will be shipped Next Day Air via Reptiles Express through the carrier FedEx, arriving Thursday. In most cases, the dragon should arrive around 11am Thursday. Shipping cost is a flat $50.00. Reptile safe packing, cold packs or heat packs (weather requiring), training bell, transport fees and other packaging materials are included in the shipping price. The shipping box can hold up to 3 baby dragons total at no additional shipping charge if you are buying multiple babies. Flat rate only applies to shipping baby bearded dragons. We ship in the United States only, except Hawaii & Alaska. We do reserve the right to delay shipment due to weather issues. If this occurs we will contact the buyer as soon as possible. We will NOT ship a dragon when the temperature is going to be below 40F or climb over 95F so please check the weather in your area. Freezing or overheating can kill a baby dragon and there is only so much that can be done with a shipping container to protect them from extreme temperatures. If weather delays occur there will be no additional charge to the buyer, but the buyer will be expected to be open for the first available ship date when there is a break in bad weather.

Live Arrival Guarantee

We guarantee the live arrival of our animals, however in the unlikely occurrence that your dragon is DOA, you must notify us within 2 hours of arrival with photographic proof of the dead animal. Do not dispose of the packing materials as it may be needed to ship the dragon back to us for insurance purposes. The buyer is responsible for new packing materials if the ones provided are destroyed. Upon receipt of the photo, and in some cases the animal, you will receive a refund of the entire purchase price of the dragon or a replacement dragon, if available. All live animal deliveries must be received by the customer on the first attempt of delivery, if you are not home at the time of delivery this is guarantee is null and void.
Health Guarantee

Our dragons are healthy and well cared for. If for some reason you have a health concern with your dragon when it arrives you MUST notify us within the first 24 hours of arrival, photo or video proof may be required. Retain all packing for a possible return. The buyer is responsible for new packing materials if the ones provided are destroyed. All of our animals are guaranteed for 72 hours, providing you take all of the necessary safety steps provided in the Care Sheet on our site. It is the buyer's responsibility to read the Care Sheet and our Terms completely. Any replacements will be given at the seller’s discretion providing one is available and upon the safe return of the original animal.
Sexing And Coloration

We attempt to accurately determine the sex of each dragon prior to selling them. However, sexing is not guaranteed in dragons under 12 months of age due to the varied developmental change rates that occur in young dragons. The coloration of your dragon is dependent on a number of factors such as genetics, health, age, stress, lighting and housing. We do our best to accurately capture each one's coloration and patterning and we do not alter our photos in any way. Photos of all parents are on our Breeders page. If in the event you are unsatisfied with your new animal, we will offer a refund or exchange only in compliance with our stated terms. Returns/Exchanges

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If for some reason you are not, please Contact Us immediately within 2 hours of arrival to discuss the reasons. If you decide that you wish to return your dragon for a refund, please note that we will refund only the purchase price not the shipping cost. There will also be a $20.00 restocking fee charged for returns, as during the time-frame that the dragon was not in our care and now has to be quarantined for 2 weeks. Also it could have been sold to another purchaser. It will be the buyer's responsibility and at their cost, to ship the dragon back to us within 48 hours via Fedex Overnight. Dragons must be shipped back in the exact same manner as they were shipped to the buyer. Once the dragon has been returned safely in the same health condition (providing return was not due to health complications), we will reimburse the purchaser the price of the dragon minus shipping and restocking fees. We will also consider exchanges if we have a baby available that is of the same quality/price. A restocking fee will not be charged in this case. Again, it will be the buyer's responsibility and at their cost, to ship the returned dragon back to us within 48 hours in the exact same manner as it was shipped to them. Once the dragon has been returned safely in the same health condition (providing exchange was not due to health complications), we will ship the other dragon in exchange. After 72 hours of the dragon in living their new home with no mention of a desired return or exchange there will be no returns or exchanges permitted.
Purchaser's Responsibility

Owning a reptile requires that a person is willing and able to make a commitment in providing the proper care for it. After purchasing, we encourage you to contact us if in the event you should have any questions or concerns regarding your dragon however we ask that you do your research first after completely reading the Care Sheet, Terms and Educational Site. Please also note that bearded dragons, regardless of age, go through varying degrees of relocation stress when they have been introduced to a new home, area or cage. It can take a few weeks for them to become acclimated to their new surroundings. Stress in dragons can sometimes cause them to not eat, display stress-marks and also can cause their parasitic count to be elevated during the adjustment period. We've had dragons that ate right out of shipping box and others that required much patience and coaxing before they ate heartily on their own. These are individual animals who develop very unique and different personalities as they grow. It is the buyer's responsibility to properly quarantine the new animal for a period of 2 weeks minimum from any other animal. This is just good practice to ensure the health of your new pet and others you may have in your household. Quarantining includes placing them in a completely sanitized enclosure in a different area away from any other animal. If a purchaser fails to quarantine their animal, any requests for a refund or exchange within the allotted time frame will be declined. And we in no way suggest housing multiple dragons in one enclosure. If you decide to do so you will void the guarantee.
The above satisfaction guarantee is offered provided that the buyer has performed all of the following:
*Was at home to receive their new dragon upon first delivery attempt as FedEx notifies us if no one was present
*Had properly quarantined their dragon for the first 2 weeks after receipt
*Had provided care and husbandry in accordance to our Care Sheet guidelines
*Notified us IMMEDIATELY to discuss any issues they may have with their new animal, possibly providing photographic or video proof
If not, any requests for refunds or exchanges will be declined.
*Was at home to receive their new dragon upon first delivery attempt as FedEx notifies us if no one was present
*Had properly quarantined their dragon for the first 2 weeks after receipt
*Had provided care and husbandry in accordance to our Care Sheet guidelines
*Notified us IMMEDIATELY to discuss any issues they may have with their new animal, possibly providing photographic or video proof
If not, any requests for refunds or exchanges will be declined.
